THIS IS IT
I hear people booking tickets way in advance. Yet, I see reviews that didn’t speak in favour. I had my doubts about watching this, in case it shatter any good impressions I had of the superstar and of the concert that would have been his “final curtain call”.
Tonight, there was a last minute “luck”. I got an invite to watch it.
I shouldn’t have any doubts in it.
This may not be a Scorsese’s “Shine A Light”, or “The Last Waltz”. But without unfair comparisons, it shows what a world-class concert is made of. “This Is It” may be about the King of Pop, but it is not by one person. Many talented, cream of the crops put in their best. This revolves around one man, but showcases many stars.
This is for the fans, and the dancers, the music-lovers, the performers, the production specialists, the people who need reminders and inspirations.
Unless you have a super-dooper sound system at home, and a gigantic screen at home, catch this at a good cinema. This is it. To me, This, Is It.
